
Sally Parkes Yoga
Sally Parkes BSc, has a background in health and fitness as well as a degree in Sports and Exercise Physiology. She has been teaching since 1998 and runs yoga teacher training programs in Hatha, Vinyasa, Pre and Post-natal Yoga, and retreats in the UK, Spain, India and Dubai. She presents fun and upbeat master classes and workshops at various health and well-being conferences including The Yoga Show and The Yoga Festival, and writes regular yoga related articles for Ultra Fit, Yoga Magazine, Om Magazine and Gurgle Magazine, and is a book editor for publications such as ‘The Healing Yoga Bible’.
With a back ground in Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga, Sally’s style of yoga teaching is flowing and strong but allows time for the practitioner to align themselves and maintain steady breathing. She has also studied extensively with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, a leader in the field of women’s health, and draws from this knowledge when teaching pre and post-natal yoga.
Sally also teaches Pilates and after teaching for several years in London is now based in Worthing, West Sussex. She is also mum to one daughter, Bonnie.
Sally is a registered Senior Yoga Teacher with The Yoga Alliance UK, a Yoga Elder with The Independent Yoga Network and a Level 3 instructor with The Register of Exercise Professionals. She is also registered with FEDANT as a Ante-Natal Educator.
