What is Teens’ Yoga?

Teens’ Yoga is great for helping them to deal with stressful times in their lives, such as exams, providing them with positive coping mechanisms to deal with future stress. This type of yoga builds strength and increases flexibility, helping them to deal with back pain, which is common in teens as they spend time hunched over at their desks whilst studying. Teens’ Yoga can also help students to mentally focus on the task at hand, increasing their concentration and stamina.

Given the barrage of changes teens go through, there are obvious benefits to practicing yoga. The physical movement and stretch used in yoga poses will help create stability and rootedness, and build the habits of good posture, while breathing and meditation techniques can help teens deal with the emotions of growing up.
