What is Special Yoga?
The notion behind Special Yoga is unity. All students in a Special Yoga class are united through chanting and mantras, just as their bodies and minds are united through focusing on breathing and through meditation.

Special Yoga is a therapeutic practice for children with special needs. The aim of this type of yoga is to help them find a relaxed, peaceful place within in order to reach their fullest potential. The practice is adapted to suit the individual child with great compassion and care. Special Yoga uses asana, pranayama, massage, sound, and deep relaxation. In these yoga classes, all children are welcome, all children are perfect, all children are special.
