What is Kriya Yoga?
Kriya Yoga aims to combat negative thinking by acting on its roots. This type of yoga focuses upon self-discipline, self-reflection and devotion.

Created by Paramahamsa Hariharananda in 1861, Kriya Yoga does not focus on the physical disciplines of Hatha Yoga. Rather, this type of yoga centres around Karma, Jnana and Bhakti Yoga, practices that aim to develop the student's spiritual standing through knowledge, selfless service, connection with the universe, and detachment from the physical world. These are goals which are achieved through careful synchronisation of breathing and thought.
