What is Dharma Yoga?
Founded by Sri Dharma Mittra in 1975, Dharma Yoga Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa is a challenging vinyasa flow based on the traditions of raja yoga but adapted for modern life. This type of yoga is taught at a number of levels - Dharma I, II, III, IV and V - from beginners to advanced. Dharma Yoga practice frees the flow of prana, moving it through the spine and into 'the physical, metabolic, intuitive, and bliss bodies,' promoting health and harmony.

Dharma Yoga is appropriate for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced yogis, because it is adapted to students’ needs. During a Dharma Yoga class, you will not only practice the yoga poses as physical movements but will also be encouraged to go deeper and experience the practice in a meditative and spiritual way.
