What is Anusara Yoga?  

 

‘Anusara’ is a Sanskrit term meaning “flowing with grace,” “going with the flow,” or “following your heart.”

Anusara yoga is a type of yoga in the Tantric tradition, wanting to nurture the intrinsic goodness in all of us, and celebrate the difference and diversity of its practitioners. Yoga classes revolve around a heart-oriented theme, using breath-coordinated movement and the 'Universal Principles of Alignment.' There are no set routines in Anusara Yoga, but the style draws on hatha yoga to create a broad syllabus of 250 yoga poses.
